I’m a geek with a wide variety of interests, many of which you’re like to read about on this site.
I’d currently describe myself as a Network Infrastructure and Service Development Specialist, with a focus for the last few years in application administration and AAA systems. I’ve spent a lot of my time working with FreeRADIUS and OpenLDAP, making network equipment work with same. When I can, I do development work on tools to support network management, primarily in Java and Groovy.
Outside of the office, I volunteer with the local Search and Rescue group, practice Bujinkan Budo Taijtusu, play folk music, and dance. I am a member of the Dorsai Irregulars, a volunteer group who provide security and operations services to a variety of fannish conventions, including Anthrocon and MAGFest.
